About Us

Midas Events Management (MEM) is a Business Events management company based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.  MEM is one of the business units of Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd (FRSB) and is the APAC Insider South-East-Asia Business Awards 2021 Award Winner, as the “Best Corporate Events Management Company – East Malaysia”.  MEM​ has a cumulative of more than 20 years in event experience spread across her core team, have extensive expertise in all aspects of events management, from conceptualization to design and to the tiniest details of production.

MEM is also the Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2021/2022 Award Winner in the category of "Corporate Events Management Specialists of the year".

MEM has a strong dedicated core team of professionals, each with vast experience in their chosen area of expertise.

​Since the lockdown in early 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic crisis, MEM has ventured into organising online conferences, exhibitions and networking and we have successfully organised 3 online conferences and business matching events that became our new milestone in this industry. MEM continues to create meaningful and impactful event with new project coming up.

Our Story

We are a related entity of IEC Midas, an event management company that is known for organizing various trade shows, conferences and exhibitions in Sabah since 2012 until 2017.  With the same core team, we have evolved into a specialized Business Events management company that keeps creating meaningful and impactful events that are relevant to specific sectors and stakeholders and that offers a comprehensive service from project conceptualization through build, activation and management.  Hence the new name, Midas Events Management (MEM).

Incorporated on 23 April 2014, Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd currently has two business units, namely Midas Events Management and Evexia Facilities Management.

We collaborate/partner with experienced professionals and products & services suppliers to provide expertise and innovative solutions to improve productivity and profitability of our clients’ core business and improving the quality of life of people.

Meet the Team

Dolly Jimayol, CEM

Owner/Project Director (MEM), Director, Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd

Ms Dolly Jimayol, CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management) holds a Executive MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from Asia e University, Subang Jaya, Malaysia, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Australian Institute of Business and Diploma in Business Studies, Universiti Institute Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam, Malaysia. She is a Life member and the Past President of the Sabah Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association (SWEPA) from 2007- 2009.

She was an Internal Auditor with Sabah Development Bank Bhd from 1983 until 1993 prior to joining stockbroking firms Innosabah Securities Sdn Bhd (now known as UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd), HLG Capital Bhd (now known as Hong Leong Capital Bhd) and OSK Holdings (now known as OSK Investment Bank Bhd) from 1993 until 2004 as Commissioned Dealers’ representative (Remisier). Among others, she managed her own clients’ portfolios as well as the Sabah State Investment Holding Company portfolios. She started her Consulting Business from 2004 onwards and among her work experiences were preparing business plans, marketing plans for start-up entrepreneurs and she has managed to get her client secure a bank loan for working capital purposes. At the same period until 2011, Dolly was appointed by Excel International College, Kuala Lumpur through an entity in Sabah, as Centre Manager for a long-distance learning MBA Programme, for Sabah Sector where she was in charge for marketing, conducting classes, preparing examination materials, conduct examinations and other administrative works for the smooth running of the Centre and the programme. Dolly ventured into organising of corporate events (now known as Business Events), from 2012 onwards until to-date. This is due to her passion for such works. She is responsible for the operations of the Business Events unit.


Sonia H.

Creative Director (MEM), Director, Falconet Resources Sdn Bhd

Ms. Sonia Hiew is an entrepreneur and branding and marketing professional with a Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business and Marketing from University of the West of England, Bristol.

Sonia began her career in brand activation and implementing marketing campaigns for key accounts such as Maxis Hotlink, Digi and Standard Chartered. Her later work experience includes market research, developing marketing and promotional campaigns for L’Oreal Paris, events planning as well as entrepreneurship.

Sonia has more than 10 years of experience in branding and creative marketing which have provided her a platform to utilize and expand her branding, marketing as well as project management and leadership skills. Throughout her experience, Sonia has managed and led creative teams to produce brand portfolios, design websites, print materials, advertising collateral and branded digital content while ensuring brand consistency across all facets of the company. Her work also includes strategic brand development, conceptualization, and implementation.

Sonia is skilled in Creative Branding, Digital Strategy, Social Media Branding, Visual Marketing, Business Planning, Project Portfolio Management, Web Design with basic HTML and CSS knowledge, Project Management and Implementation, E-Commerce, and Client Relations.
